#41 Jessica Martin - “What are we trying to do here?”

Jessica is a managers manager. You know how I know that… I don’t, but if I did it would have sounded super cool. Jess (as I affectionately call her), has been Stephen Kellogg’s manager for many years and has recently taken on a new client in Brian Dunne. In my experience with working with Jess over the last few years, I have enjoyed her personal and professional approach to meeting my needs and I’m overwhelmed with joy to have had this conversation with her on my show! (Was that too over the top?)
All Jokes aside, Jess knows a TON about the music industry and what it takes to solve an artists day to day challenges along side setting them up to accomplish their big picture goals. She’s one of my favorite people on the planet and I hope you enjoy the episode!

I feel the tone in the podcast was a little disrespectful sadly! It broke my heart listening to a man soundcheck in the back as you talk bad about him just feet away. There is a moment when you and Jess both pause and there was an awkward silence and the tone used I felt was unprofessional, unkind and put her in an awkward position. I understand podcasts are opinions and your point of view I just felt it this was personal and distasteful! I would ask in the future you remember that these artists have loyal fans and these artists have helped people through some of the hardest times in their lives! This is what counts at the end of the day! #sayingthethingsineedtosay
